DIY Winter Wonderland Advent Calendar

Engage in creating this simple advent calendar with your kids to kick off the Christmas countdown.

To create a winter wonderland advent calendar, simply cut white cardstock into house and tree shapes. Let your child unleash their creativity by drawing on each piece. Then, glue these festive drawings onto sticks to bring the winter scene to life. This hands-on and personalized approach adds an extra layer of joy and excitement to the countdown to Christmas.

Advent calendars are beneficial for kids as they provide a tangible and interactive way to countdown to Christmas. These calendars build anticipation and excitement as each day reveals a new surprise or activity. Additionally, they help teach patience and the concept of time, enhancing children’s understanding of the holiday season. The daily engagement with the calendar fosters creativity, whether through crafting, treats, or activities, making it a memorable and enjoyable tradition for kids during the festive season.

My name is Dove. I live in an enchanted forest at the end of a rainbow. I have a little window in my room where I can see unicorns playing in the grass field at day and magical fairies dancing under the silvery moon at night. I love creating things with my kids and adding a touch of magic to their playtime.
